Tournaments & Championships

World Taekwondo MMA events bring students, families, instructors, and the martial arts community together through tournaments, championships, demonstrations, seminars, and special academy activities. This page is the central place to follow upcoming opportunities and recent highlights.

Upcoming Events

Check here for upcoming tournaments, championships, seminars, demonstrations, and academy events. As event dates are confirmed, this page can be updated with schedules, locations, registration information, eligibility, and other important details.

Competition & Growth

Martial arts events give students an opportunity to challenge themselves, gain experience, support teammates, and represent their academy in a respectful competitive environment. Participation can also help students build confidence, composure, focus, and a stronger sense of community.

Academy & Community Events

Not every event is a competition. Demonstrations, seminars, special training sessions, recognition ceremonies, and community activities are also an important part of academy life and provide opportunities for students and families to connect beyond regular classes.

A Tradition of Martial Arts Leadership

Grandmaster Hee Yong Kwon has served the martial arts and Korean-American communities for decades. His leadership includes helping establish Taekwondo Day in Washington State in 1995, as well as later service with national and international martial arts organizations. Event highlights and recognition connected with the academy can be featured here as the archive grows.
